in short
The gay and lesbian fanclub of the 1. FCK
The 1. FC Kaiserslautern – better known as the Red Devils – is an outstanding symbol of german football (or soccer, for our american friends), especially for the otherwise rather rural reaches of south-western Germany, namely Rhineland-Palatinate.
One may not directly associate tradition with gay life, but just because this relation doesn’t come naturally to mind, it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist: So: yes, even in the traditional and time-honoured surroundings of the “Betzenberg” there we are: queer football fans of the 1. FCK.
Our primay goal simply is to go to the games, have fun and talk shop about what we saw. So, apart from most of us being gay, we are not too different from other football fans, are we?
Well, there is one tiny detail. For most of us it is not enough to accept the world as it is and thereby tolerate others who attack or annoy gays and lesbians or even simply use words that describe our way of life in order to run down the opponent. “Gay” may be a nice word in english, its german translation can quite easily be used to discredit others.
To put it mildly: we don’t like it. And we intend to fight it … by informing the public that we exist and that that which is still widely accepted as normal behaviour, is indeed a discrimination for us and we want it to stop.
Moreover, we want to create an atmosphere in which in the end not only fans but also players, referees, trainers and everyone else having to do with our sport can openly live as gay without having to fear any reprisals or discrimination.

We meet after the games below the northern terrace in front of the booth of “Da Rosario”.
If you want to have a look of what we do: “Bilder” is the german word for “pictures”
We are sorry, but we cannot deliver our entire web site in english, so the pictures will have to suffice.
